Write to us by email at hello@deardream.app. A person reads every message, usually within two working days. To get an answer, use an email address you can read; for anything about your account, use the address you signed up with.
Questions
Where are my dreams kept?
In your account, and nowhere else. They are never sold, never shown to advertisers, and no one else can see them.
How does DearDream read my dreams?
Your words are sent to Google's Gemini AI, which writes a reading anchored in the images you described. When you dictate, Gemini also turns your voice into text, and the recording is not kept. You give your consent to this when you sign up, and you can withdraw it in You > Your dreams and your privacy. Without it, DearDream keeps your journal but cannot read or answer.
Is a reading advice?
No. Readings are possibilities to reflect on, never a diagnosis. DearDream is not a medical device and gives no medical or psychological advice. If your nights weigh on you, talk to a professional.
A reading or a reply felt wrong or hurtful.
Tell us without leaving the app: on a dream, open the "..." menu and choose "Report this reading"; in a conversation, press and hold DearDream's reply and choose "Report". We read every report.
Can I note a dream from a few days ago?
Yes. In the almanac, touch that night, then tell it.
How do I delete a dream?
Open the dream, tap "..." at the top of its page, then delete it. It leaves your journal at once, with its conversation.
The microphone does not work.
DearDream asks for the microphone the first time you tap it, never before. If you declined, open your phone's Settings, find DearDream and turn the microphone on. You can always write your dream instead.
I forgot my password.
Write to us at hello@deardream.app, from the email address of your account, and we will help you back in.
How do I change the language or the theme?
In You > Display. DearDream writes in English, French and Hebrew, and follows dawn, night or your phone.
Delete your account
In the app: open You > Your dreams and your privacy. At the bottom, under "Your account", tap "Delete my account", read what will be erased, then hold "Hold to erase everything". Everything that is yours is erased at once and for good: your dreams, your conversations with DearDream, what she remembers of you, your details and your account itself.
Without the app: write to hello@deardream.app from the email address of your account, with the subject "Delete my account". We delete it within 30 days and tell you when it is done.

Comment DearDream lit-elle mes rêves ?
Vos mots sont envoyés à Gemini, l’IA de Google, qui écrit une lecture ancrée dans les images que vous avez décrites. Quand vous dictez, Gemini transforme aussi votre voix en texte ; l’enregistrement n’est pas conservé. Vous y consentez à l’inscription, et vous pouvez retirer ce consentement dans Vous > Vos rêves et votre vie privée. Sans lui, DearDream garde votre journal mais ne peut plus lire ni répondre.
Une lecture est-elle un conseil ?
Non. Les lectures sont des pistes de réflexion, jamais un diagnostic. DearDream n’est pas un dispositif médical et ne donne aucun avis médical ou psychologique. Si vos nuits vous pèsent, parlez-en à un professionnel.
Une lecture ou une réponse m’a semblé fausse ou blessante.
Dites-le-nous sans quitter l’application : sur un rêve, ouvrez le menu « ... » et choisissez « Signaler cette lecture » ; dans une conversation, maintenez le doigt sur la réponse de DearDream et choisissez « Signaler ». Nous lisons chaque signalement.
Puis-je noter un rêve d’il y a quelques jours ?
Oui. Dans l’almanach, touchez cette nuit-là, puis racontez-la.
Comment supprimer un rêve ?
Ouvrez le rêve, touchez « ... » en haut de sa page, puis supprimez-le. Il quitte votre journal aussitôt, avec sa conversation.
Le micro ne fonctionne pas.
DearDream demande l’accès au micro la première fois que vous le touchez, jamais avant. Si vous avez refusé, ouvrez les Réglages de votre téléphone, trouvez DearDream et activez le micro. Vous pouvez toujours écrire votre rêve.
J’ai oublié mon mot de passe.

Comment changer la langue ou le thème ?
Dans Vous > Affichage. DearDream écrit en français, en anglais et en hébreu, et suit l’aube, la nuit ou votre téléphone.
Supprimer votre compte
Dans l’application : ouvrez Vous > Vos rêves et votre vie privée. En bas, sous « Votre compte », touchez « Supprimer mon compte », lisez ce qui sera effacé, puis maintenez « Maintenir pour tout effacer ». Tout ce qui est à vous est effacé aussitôt et définitivement : vos rêves, vos échanges avec DearDream, ce qu’elle a retenu de vous, vos informations et votre compte lui-même.
Sans l’application : écrivez à hello@deardream.app depuis l’adresse e-mail de votre compte, avec l’objet « Supprimer mon compte ». Nous le supprimons sous 30 jours et vous prévenons quand c’est fait.

באפליקציה: פתחי את "אני" > החלומות שלך והפרטיות שלך. בתחתית, תחת "החשבון שלך", געי ב"למחוק את החשבון שלי", קראי מה יימחק, ואז החזיקי לחוץ על "להחזיק לחוץ כדי למחוק הכול". כל מה ששלך נמחק מיד ולתמיד: החלומות, השיחות עם DearDream, מה שהיא זוכרת עלייך, הפרטים שלך והחשבון עצמו.
